  • Snoot

Snoot Set is specifically designed for use on the Broncolor Pico and Mobilite portable flash heads. It comes complete with 3 honeycomb grids and 2 aperture plates to provide precise light placement control.

Snoots, barndoors, grids, and filters are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape, intensity, or color of the light output from your flash heads. Consider them as a painter would a brush or a sculptor would a knife or chisel.

Use of a snoot will result in a small circle of light when it is attached to the front of your light source. The size of the circle of light will be determined by the opening of the snoot, its length, and the distance of the subject.

  • Soft Box

Softboxes are so successful because they provide a diffused soft light. The light does not have hard, well defined edges – there is a transition from light to dark with gradual change. The softer the light the more gradual the change from light to dark.

The softbox works because inside the box light bounces off the internal surfaces. The bouncing light scatters itself so that light emerging from the front is going in many different directions. This random scatter, from the front wide, translucent screen means the light hits the subject with little focus.

  • STRIPS

The Striplite among the textile Boxes is perfect for illuminating edges in product photography and as a hair-light in the portrait and fashion fields. Powerful backlights to emphasise contours are possible; narrow reflections can be created in glossy surfaces.
